Lot Number: 448

Description: Incredibly rare 1915 World Series program at Philadelphia scored for Game (1) (Babe Ruth World Series debut). Original program issued for game played at the Baker Bowl, scored neatly in pencil for Game 1 which was played October 8 as Babe Ruth made the first of what would become (10) World Series appearances. His ground out to first off G.C Alexander in the top of the 9th inning is recorded within the pitcher's line. Binding remains fully intact and there is minimal wear at corners/edges. A hint of very light scattered cover wear is mentioned for accuracy and the interior remains clean with pre-printed lineups. Front cover has several pencil lines drawn at top and both the top and bottom edges have been neatly trimmed. An incredible rarity being offered for the first time publicly, represents one of only two examples which we can confirm to have surfaced (the other also offered within this sale): Strong EX/MT with note to trimming/pencil marks, NM-MT interior

Estimated Price Range: ($10,000-$15,000)
