Description: Rare 1920 Cleveland Indians large format team photographic print. Imposing black and white photographic print by Louis Van Oeyen of the World Champion Indians including Joe Wood, Tris Speaker, Stan Covaleskie, and Joe Sewell. Inset vignette portrait of Ray Chapman at upper left corner who was killed during play mid season. Players are identified within lower border which also team name and Championship notation. Clarity and photo registration are typical of Van Oeyen who is identified in print within and there is also a "Postergraph Company" printer's mark at lower right. Mild expected age toning throughout with some elongated surface scuffs, small tear to 4th player from left in bottom row, and larger tear at upper left slightly affecting Chapman portrait. Framed for display to 30.5"x42" (wear to frame) with visible area of 22"x36". Not examined below the matting. One of only a handful of examples known to exist which were most certainly player presentation pieces with the only other we have sold originating from the collection of Joe Wood: VG-EX
