Description: Exceptional Hank Greenberg professional model baseball bat c.1937-1940. Rare Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with "Hank Greenberg" facsimile signature impressed in the barrel end, measures 35" long weighs 33.3oz. Outstanding usage wear is evident throughout with ball transfer and stitch marks on the hitting surface, cleat marks, and green rack marks on knob. The handle, which has a professionally restored crack, has been tapered and scored for grip. Centerbrand labeling period dates the bat to the most productive period of Greenberg's career in which he played on (4) consecutive All-Star teams, won an MVP award (1940), and twice lead the Major Leagues in homeruns. Seldom offered bat of this level of quality being a unique opportunity.
