Description: George Wright's Hall of Fame plaque frame. Original wooden frame which once housed George Wright's bronze Hall of Fame plaque. Mahogany wooden frame with classical columnar design measures 24" tall retaining its original brass appointments at top and bottom. "George Wright" written in period pencil notation on the backboard in identical fashion to several other player examples that have entered the marketplace previously. These wooden frames were removed from use at the Hall of Fame during renovations many years ago and serve as an interesting and desirable display item. Includes several George Wright postcards and an Artvue postcard picturing interior of the Hall of Fame in the 1930s with the wooden frames on display: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$1,500)
