Description: "Ty Cobb Brand" tennis racquet in original branded carry bag c.1920s. Early wooden racquet retaining well preserved "Ty Cobb Brand W.B. Jarvis" decal at center. Housed in original period canvas carrying bag which has cloth tag of similar design. Moderate evident wear with ring of tape at handle end and darkened area where additional ring was likely present. Partially strung although what remains is dry and brittle having cracked/separated at many areas throughout. Bag has a hint of consistent discoloration with some additional scattered soiling and several small tears and areas of fraying: Overall EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
