Description: Schmelzer model baseball bat with ball shaped knob termination c.1910. Full size 33 1/2" bat features "Schmelzer" brand logo stampings at centerbrand area and end of barrel. Bat features an uncommon ball shaped termination to the knob in a similar, but less pronounced, fashion to the Louisville Slugger "Ball Balanced" baseball bats of the same period. The bat shows evident use including areas of grain swelling to the surface, surface crack to back of barrel, and an elongated 6" area of chipping to the back of barrel area: VGEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
