Vintage fountain pen signature rates 8 out of 10. Ball displays moderate even toning/discoloration with shellac applied over signed area. Light scattered wear mentioned for accuracy with small area of more pronounced toning with some surface loss over Heydler facsimile signature (likely resulting from prior mount within display). League stampings remain bold and well defined. Desirable playing days example dating to the era in which Vance dominated the National League.
