Description: Hand carved wooden statue of Harmon Killebrew by Giuseppe Rumerio. Exceptionally well executed rendering of Harmon Killebrew as carved by the noted wood sculptor from the Val Garena region of Italy. Stands 25" tall at very tip of bat with 7"x18" footprint. Signed on the base, within the work, "G.Rumerio 2001" and remains in very fine overall condition. Includes a series of photographs taken at a 2001 event honoring Killebrew in which Rumerio can be seen crafting a larger (near life size) version of this piece.
