Description: 1951 World Series folk art decorated envelope by George Sosnak c.1988. Original 4.75"x9.75" envelope addressed to Eddie Stanky & Family has been intricately hand decorated by George Sosnak. Titled "1951 World Series 3rd Game" at top with large scene of Stanky sliding with Phil Rizzuto of the making a play. Captioning below lightheartedly pokes fun reading "More Burglary In Broad Daylight. Eddie Stanky Out by Three Feet..." Date 1988 in lower right corner. Very minor wear as would be expected having been postally used and slight trim at left edge where it was opened. Framed to 6.5"x11.5" as displayed in the Stanky home: EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($400-$600)
