Description:Early baseball themed children's' game c.1889. Wooden case game board featuring lithographed field of play picturing a baseball diamond with players at each position and printed on instructions/rules. "Ball" (not present) is put in play via a sliding shooter at lower right and can either ring a bell at top or fall into a number of different receptacles on the field. Evident wear and toning/staining throughout. An 1889 patent date appears on the printed portion and faintly stamped with the wood. Measures 8.75"x13.25" overall: VG
