Description: Very early Duffy Lewis professional model baseball bat c.1917-1921. Desirable early game bat from one of the most noted position players of his day. Hand turned Louisville Slugger 125 dash-dot-dash model baseball bat having well defined "Duffy Lewis" facsimile signature impressed within the barrel. Displays nice dark patina with usage wear visible throughout the barrel including ball transfer, stitch, and cleat marks with some mild grain swelling. Handle has "H" shaped crack. Very light sidewriting can not be deciphered. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and has MEARS authentication label affixed: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$1,500)
