Description: Rare Lewis "Hack" Wilson professional model baseball bat c. 1926-1931. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 31.6 oz. This bat exhibits very fine evident use inclusive of barrel checking, ball marks, and light scoring to the handle. Back of the barrel has a narrow area of an elongated "chip" measuring approximately 8" in length that could easily be restored if so desired. Both manufacturer stampings and facsimile signature on barrel area remain pronounced and clearly legible. Trademark small termination knob is present as typically found on documented Hack Wilson game bats. Strong example dating to the prime of Wilson's Hall of Fame career.
