Sepia toned photograph captioned "Watching The Tribune Baseball Board at Tribune Square During The Game Between The Athletics and Braves at Boston, Oct. 13, 1914." The massive crowd gathered was witnessing score updates first hand as the "Miracle Braves" finished their (4) game sweep of the Philadelphia Athletics after coming back from their mid-season last place standing. Light age toning throughout with wear largely confined to edges. Upper edge has what appears to be some moisture/heat damage. Housed with a vintage frame measuring 16.5"x52.5" overall.
