Lot Number: 529

Description: 1907 World Series program (at Chicago). Original program issued for game played at the West Side Grounds, scored neatly in pencil for Game (2) which was played on October 9th. Classic front cover graphic retains vibrant coloration. Moderate scattered wear throughout inclusive of light edge and corner wear/chipping, some loss to front and back cover, and a vertical fold which has been well pressed out. Hint of moisture damage is confined largely to upper right corner. Remarkably, the bound edge is near fully intact (with note to upper surface loss at edge). Relatively clean interior. Highly desirable program from the fourth World Series played in the modern era, easily won by a Chicago team that was in the midst of baseballs first great "dynasty" of the 20th Century: Technical VG with VG/EX display qualities

Estimated Price Range: ($7,500-$10,000)
