Lot Number: 516

Description: 1933 All-Star Game panoramic photograph. A mid-summer tradition was born in 1933 when Chicago played host to the first All-Star Game organized by Major League Baseball. The rosters for both League's were impressive hosting (20) future Hall of Famers with many of the game's greatest legends among them. This imposing 12"x30" black and white photograph depicts the game in play with what appears to be the National League on field and the American League up to bat. Inset along the upper third are images of the individual teams with block lettered titling to the left. The photograph displays crisp clarity and appears, with the exception of a hint of age toning, to exhibit little to no wear. "Kaufmann - Fabry" studio markings in lower right corner. Framed to slightly larger dimensions for display: EM/MT-NM
