Description: Early Hall of Famers and Stars autographed baseball c.1934. Red and black stitched Wilson "Official League" baseball has been signed by (25) total players including some of the most notable of the period. Includes Babe Ruth, Mel Ott, Lefty Grove, Chick Hafey, Bill Terry, Burleigh Grimes, Jim Bottomley, Dazzy Vance, Dizzy Dean, Travis Jackson, and others. "1934 All Stars" handwritten in vintage ink, however it is more likely that this began as a Giants team ball which was subsequently added to. Fountain pen signatures rate 5/6 to 8 out of 10 (Ruth being the strongest). Consistent toning with period coat of shellac applied and several scattered areas of loss to surface with string wound center visible below. Approximately (6) signatures are affected by the loss.
