Description: Significant October 2, 1924 Negro League World Series photograph. Striking original black and white image pictures thousands of fans witnessing the historic inaugural game of the 1924 "Colored World Seriesö as titled at the bottom right margin. Both African American and Caucasian fans can be viewed seated and standing amongst each other for the first game played between the powerful Kansas City Monarchs and the Hilldale Daisies. Players are clearly visible on the field in game action which included several notables such as Bullet Rogan, Frank Duncan, Judy Johnson, Louis Santop, and Biz Mackey.
