Description: Gaylord Perry Cleveland Indians professional model home jersey c.1973-1974. After coming over from the San Francisco Giants in what would ultimately prove a horribly one sided trade, Gaylord Perry earned his first Cy Young Award in 1972 and cemented his spot as anchor of the Indians rotation. In the three and half seasons he spent with the team Perry accounted for 39% of their wins with 24 in 1972, 19 in 73, and another 21 in 1974. Uncommon style dating to 1973-1974 specifically having "Indians" team name lettered across the front in specialized font and batting Indian logo patch on sleeve. Back has player number "36" below the name "Perry." Manufacturer's tag from Wilson appears on the collar with size "48." Light evident usage and wash wear. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: EX
