Description: Rare Ted Williams autographed bat - full name with "Splendid Splinter" inscription. Louisville Slugger 125 baseball bat with "W215" model number stamped in the knob, made to replicate the style utilized by Williams during his playing days. Signed on the barrel in blue marker, "Theodore Samuel Williams" with added "Splendid Splinter" inscription below. Signature rates 9 out of 10. One of only a handful of pieces we have encountered with either signature variation and one of only two we have brought to auction in nearly 20 years to bear both (the other having come directly from the Williams family).
