Bush note card as sent to Ted thanking him for his endorsement. Content reads, "Dear Ted Thank you for your endorsement. I am honored to have you on my team. You are a great American and a fine example-Best Wishes George Bush": NM; March 27, 2001 typewritten letter on White House stationery as sent to Ted with content wishing him well with regard to health issues. Content is particularly poignant including, in part, "Fight the good fight, Ted. Remember that everyone who loves baseball respects you, loves you, and needs you." Signed in black marker at the bottom: NM; Ted Williams autographed Louisville Slugger model bat signed, "To George Bush 2000 Ted Williams" in blue sharpie on the back of the barrel.
