Description: 1980 Ted Williams United States Marine Corps "George Halas Sportsman of the Year" award. Three dimensional clear acrylic figural piece with image of the Marine Corps insignia at the center, positioned atop a mahogany pedestal style base. Applied placard on the front of base with titling of the award as given to Williams on April 12, 1980 "For Exemplary Leadership and Accomplishments". 12" long with the electrified base appearing to be in fine overall condition, but does not currently illuminate. Retains its original Balfour labeling under the base: EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
