Description: Ted Williams Korean War Service Medal with related pin, Citation Papers, and photograph c.1953. Includes original medal with "Korean Service" lettering and Pagoda graphic on one side having "United States of America" and Yin-Yang symbol on the reverse. Retains its original blue and white ribbon along with original box: EX (box has some wear). Small additional uniform bar pin is also included, which was found in the same box as the medal: EX. The lot also includes (3) one page typewritten, Temporary Citations from the US Marine Corps to Ted Williams for "Meritorious acts while participating in aerial fight against the enemy while attached to the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing in Korea 1953". Each letter is signed by Major General V.E. Megee.
