Desirable collection of materials as collected by Ted Williams on site at the 1998 Space Shuttle Discovery flight to include: Commemorative silver coin as flown on the actual space shuttle mission by Senator John Glenn and presented to Ted Williams. Coin remains in its original casing and includes a handwritten note from John-Henry Williams detailing its gift from Glenn to Williams; Drum facing signed by the members of Aerosmith who were also in attendance including Steven Tyler; Ted Williams identification badge and NBC News press tag as pictured in the offered images worn by Williams; Ted Williams' VMF-311 Marine Corp. baseball cap signed by Williams under the bill in blue sharpie; Several Space Shuttle Discovery pins and a large patch; Tom Brokaw autographed framed photograph personalized to Ted Williams taken during an interview at the launch; and several color 8"x10" photographs taken that day picturing Ted Williams, Aerosmith, and others.
