Very fine sterling silver "Enlisted Reserve CPT" pilot's medal as presented to Williams upon earning his "wings" at Naval Flight Training school in 1942. Pinback medal measures 2 1/2" long and is marked "sterling" on the reverse. Includes a vintage 7"x9" sepia tone photo of Williams receiving the medal with related printed caption on the verso.
