Description: Grouping of (25) Ted Williams custom made endorsed fly fishing rods. Very fine lot of custom made graphite fly fishing rods each individually hand numbered out of (1235) produced (In recognition of the 1,235lb blue marlin Ted caught in 1954) with "Ted Williams" facsimile signature in gold on the shaft. This particular grouping of rods were custom designed to specifications as originally requested by Ted Williams to a length of 9' 3". Construction materials are of the highest quality including rosewood fly reel seat and Portuguese cork. All rods remain in unused original condition including black satin sheath with Williams' facsimile signature in gold.
