Description: Ted Williams personal fly tying desk. Incredible piece which held a special place of importance in the life of Ted Williams as used over many years in his New Brunswick, Canada home. The desk is of a charmingly primitive nature having seven drawer configuration with elongated working surface top. The desk shows heavy use inclusive of multi color residue on the top from shellac used by Williams in the fly tying process. Back of the desk has some separation to the laminate surface which has been re-adhered to the body of the desk. Includes a small hinged door cabinet with fish decor on front and various fly tying materials within accordion folders inside as used by Ted Williams. Additional fly tying wooden accourerment is also included. Poignant and treasured personal item from Williams' personal collection at which he spent countless hours tying flies with a passion for the sport he relished during the course of his life.
