Description: Ted Williams Savage Model 1895 Commemorative Rifle. For the celebration of Savages 75th anniversary, in 1970, they reproduced a copy of their first ever lever action rifle, the Model 1895. They produced 9999 guns and placed them in specially marked boxes but instead of the old cowboy caliber, they chambered these rifles for the more commonly found .308 Winchester round. This rifle features the high gloss finished 26" octagon barrel with the engraved receiver and gold plated accents with a commemorative coin on the left side of the stock.
