Description: 1958 Ted Williams Boston Police Department Honorary Commissioner badge with related autographed personal check. Original shield shaped commemorative badge as presented to Williams as an honorary Police Commissioner for the city of Boston measuring 2" tall. Reverse is inscribed, "Ted Williams from Leo J. Sullivan Police Commissioner 9-23-58". The lot is also accompanied by a Ted Williams autographed personal check made out to the Fraternal Order of Police for a $25 donation in 1993.
