Description: Ted Williams National Rifle Association Membership card and related ephemera including autographed letter from Charlton Heston and Ted Williams personal check. Original NRA Membership card as issued to Williams in 1992 featuring his name in raised gold lettering. The lot includes a 1999 typewritten letter on personal stationery as sent to Williams by NRA President Charlton Heston asking Ted to appear for endorsements of the NRA. Letter is signed by Heston in black fountain pen rating 9 out of 10. Additionally, the lot includes a 1994 Ted Williams personal check for $125 made out to the NRA for membership dues signed "Theodore Williams" in blue ink.
