Description: Boston Red Sox presentational baseball bat c.1913. Incredibly dense Nicaraguan wood baseball bat weighing 4lbs. 3oz. as presented to the Boston Red Sox in 1913 in honor of their 1912 World Championship. Bat measures 34" long with an affixed silver label on the knob end inscribed, "To the Boston Red Sox World's Champions for 1913 Presented by the American Fans of Bluefields, Nicaragua". The silver label remains intact with some age wear and a few indentations. The bat retains its original surface with some typical surface wear including a few scratches and small fissures on the barrel end from aging.
