Description: Incredibly scarce "Nuf Ced" McGreevy souvenir shot glass c.1900-1915. Diminutive hand blown shot glass featuring an etched portrait of famed Boston sports figure Mike "Nuf Ced" McGreevy. "McGreevy on the Avenue 3rd Base" lettering found above and below the image. McGreevy is one of Boston's men of legend who was the owner and bartender of M.T. McGreevy & Co, Importers, or what was better known to fans as the "Third Base Saloon" because it was the last stop on the way "home" after the game. McGreevy became the leader of the venerable "Royal Rooters" fan club who cheered for their Boston Pilgrims at every home game. 2 1/2" tall remaining in superb original condition: EX/MT-NMEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$2,000)
