Description: Tony Conigliaro framed display piece. Matted and framed display includes an original ticket stub from the August 18, 1967 game in which Conigliaro was hit by a pitch off of Angels pitcher Jack Hamilton. The injury caused permanent eye damage which would eventually end Conigliaro's promising young career. Stub itself has the date printed at the bottom right and has some period tape reinforcement to the stub itself: VG. The display also includes a Tony Conigliaro signed unlined card in black ink rating 9/10 out of 10: NM and a vintage 1970 Sports Illustrated cover which pictured Conigliaro after the injury.
