Lot Number: 303

Description: Fine Carl Yastrzemski 1967 World Series professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 30.7oz. The bat shows very fine use including ball marks, stitching impressions, rack marks, and light grain swelling to the barrel area. Model W215 stamped on the knob end with "8" written in period blue marker. The barrel end displays the special designation stampings for the World Series, "1967-World Series Boston Red Sox" along with the typical facsimile signature stamping. The barrel has also been autographed by Yastrzemski in green marker adding "TC" for Triple Crown. Although the 1967 Red Sox fell short in their bid for the World Championship that particular season, they will always be fondly remembered by Boston fans. Specifically, Carl Yastrzemski enjoyed a season for the ages in 1967 capturing the Triple Crown. Very fine game bat which must be considered among the finest of its type. Includes LOAs from Hunt Auctions (bat) and JSA (autograph): EX
