Description: Superb Mickey Mantle single signed baseball inscribed to Ted Williams. Clean white B.Brown AL ball signed in blue ink on a side panel, "To Ted 'My Idol' Happy Holidays Mickey Mantle 12/11/93". Signature and salutation rate 9/10 out of 10. Mantle and Williams enjoyed a significant degree of mutual respect between each other, both during and after their playing careers. It was inherently clear that Mantle held Ted Williams in the highest regard and by all accounts idolized his approach to the game of baseball and as a gentleman off the field. Outstanding and unique rarity. The lot is accompanied by a black and white 8"x10" photo picturing Ted Williams and Mickey Mantle signed by Williams in gold sharpie.
