Description: Detroit Lions professional quality team jacket c.1950s. Heavy wool jacket with white leather sleeves retains it's original "Detroit-Lions" embroidered team logo patch on the front chest. "King O'Shea" manufacturer's tag appears in the collar and an embroidered size "44" tag is on lower inside tail. Moderate evident usage wear and discoloration throughout. Obtained by the grandfather of our consignor and is accompanied by a vintage Lions team logo football. Football bears several ink signatures including Joe Schmidt and Don Shula. Signatures rate 6 to 8 out of 10 with several more faded and has period coat of shellac applied.
