Description: Desirable Knute Rockne endorsed vintage leather football helmet c.1920s. Original high quality helmet has bold and deep "Lowe & Campbell Athletic Goods" manufacturer's markings and "Knute Rockne" facsimile signature. Generally light wear is evident with several more pronounced areas. Interior is near fully intact with only a small portion of the upper padding missing (incidental and mentioned only for accuracy). Canvas chin strap intact. Very well preserved example and desirable as both a Rockne model and one of the highest quality store model helmets of the era: EX-EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
