Description: 1909-1911 T206 White Border Baseball card near-complete set of (516) cards. This near complete set was assembled by a collector in the 1980s and this is the first time it has been offered at auction since being collected. It is missing Dahlen Brooklyn, Demmit St. Louis, Elberfeld Washington portrait, Lundgren Kansas City, Magie, O'Hara St. Louis, Plank, and Wagner. (15) cards have been graded by SGC and breakdown as follows - (2) graded SGC 84 NM - Dougherty "arm in air" and O'Leary "hands on knees" (both Old Mill backs); (3) graded SGC 80 EX/NM - Downey "batting" (Cycle back), Konetchy "glove low" (Cycle back), and Mathewson "dark cap"; (2) graded SGC 60 EX - Breitenstein (brown Hindu back) and Wagner "bat on right shoulder"; (3) graded SGC 50 VG/EX - Cobb "red portrait" (Polar Bear back), Mathewson "portrait", and Overall "Hands at face level" (Sovereign back); (3) graded SGC 40 VG - Bresnahan "with bat), Cobb "Green portrait", and Cobb "bat off shoulder" (Sovereign back); and (2) graded SGC 30 GD - Cobb "bat on shoulder" and Johnson portrait.
