Description: 1915 Chicago Whales Federal League Champions team photograph. Rare 6.5"x8.5" sepia toned period photograph of the Chicago entrant into the upstart Federal League. The team, which had been known of the Federals in 1914, adopted use of the Whale inside "C" logo for the 1915 season in which they won the League Championship. Although we can not definitively state they are pictured, team notables include Joe Tinker and Three Finger Brown. Consistent light age toning with touch of wear at corners/edges: VG/EX-EX
