Description: Johnny Callison autographed professional model "corked" baseball bat c.1960s. Adirondack 302 model Big Stick baseball has "John Callison" block lettered in barrel end. Measures 35" long and weighs 33.5oz. Jersey number "6" has been written on both ends in period black marker. Knob end has model number "259A" stamped in along with factory pencil notation. Usage wear evident throughout inclusive of ball transfer marks and taped handle for grip which also has a moderate coating of pine tar. Small crack/separation at grain approximately 16" from knob end on back of upper handle. Signed in blue marker, "Johnny Callison HR 7-7-64" rating 8 out of 10 with additional notation reading "My corked bat." An examination of the barrel end reveals that the bat does indeed appear to be corked. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions, auction LOA from JSA, and has PSA/DNA sticker affixed (D44395): Bat EX, Sig EX/MT-NM
