Description: Scarce "I Am A Phillie" pin c.1907. Ornate and highly visual multi-section pin is the first example that we have handled. Upper bar comprised of scalloped edge metal frame with inset paper/celluloid "Philadelphia" titling. Intact blue/white ribbon remains fully intact and supports a pair of metal rings which is turn hold a 2.25" pin. Pin reads, "I Am A Phillie Why Ain't You?" with the date "July 4, 1907." Moderate age toning throughout with light soiling to ribbon. Pin retains original "Weber Badge and Novelty Co" paper insert on back: VG/EX-EX
