Description: Willie Mays professional model baseball bat c.1958-60. Adirondack 302 model baseball bat with "Willie Mays" lettered in barrel end measures 35" long and weights 32oz. Model number "M63" stamped in knob end which also has vintage "24" player number handwritten in black marker. Evident usage wear throughout with visible ball transfer marks primarily concentrated on area below manufacturer's markings. Grain swelling and moderate surface wear. Large "H" shaped crack begins at upper handle and extends through mid barrel. Mays remains one of the most revered players of all time, with numerous career accomplishments that place him in elite company. One of just (4) players to reach the elusive plateaus both (500) homeruns and (4,000) hits, he appeared on (24) All-Star teams and won (12) Gold Gloves.
