Description: Fine Elston Howard professional model baseball bat c.1961-1964. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 36" long and weighs 36.4oz. The bat exhibits incredible use including ball marks, rack marks, cleat marks, pine tar residue, and scored handle. K55 model number is stamped on the knob end and vintage "EH" is written in black marker. Bat had a few minor finish tacks on a slight handle fissure which were professionally removed. The offered exemplar is the finest Elston Howard game bat that we have offered with regard to usage and appearance dating to the prime of his career with the New York Yankees Championship teams of the early 1960s.
