Description: 1905 Invitation to the Opening Game at the Polo Grounds. Original printed invitation to April 14, 1905 game between the New York Giants and Boston Beaneaters. Features an exterior view of the "New Club House and Entrances" and the "scene after game June 4th 1904." Team roster and game details are printed below. Heavy paper stock measures 7"x10.75" overall and was designed to be folded to 3.5"x5.25". Heavy wear mostly affecting upper portions inclusive of several rips and creases (1 covered by tape) and a pair of staple holes. (1) Small hole within player listing. Retains fine display qualities and housed within custom cut mat: GD-VG
