Description: 1910 Eddie Collins autographed letter with fine content. September 12, 1910 typed letter to D.A. Fletcher. Reads in part, "…I want you to understand that I am perfectly willing to abide by the contract in spite of any objections entered by the National Commission. Have talked with several of the American players and they all seem to feel the same about the matter..." Signed at the close, "Edward T. Collins." Light consistent age toning, more prevalent in areas, with wrinkling and edge/corner wear. Typical mailing folds with several small edge tears and pair of pinholes at top and a few other creases. Signature rates 8 out of 10 (several errant ink/pencil marks). Includes letter of provenance and auction LOA from JSA: Letter VG-VG/EX, Sig. EX/MT-NM
