Description: 1910 Oscar Stanage handwritten letter with related telegram. September 8, 1910 handwritten letter to D.A. Fletcher on "Colonial Hotel" stationery. Reads in part, "You can rest assured that I will hold my self in readiness to be with you in any of your undertaking." Signed at the close, "O.H. Stanage." Includes related telegram dated Sept. 21 displaying light consistent age toning and wear with folds from storage and chips at upper edge (piece missing at left side). Stanage spent almost (14) complete seasons with the Detroit Tigers and is second on the All-Time Franchise list for numbers of games played as a catcher. Very light consistent age toning and incidental edge wear. Signature/handwriting rates 9 out of 10. Includes letter of provenance and auction LOA from JSA: Letter EX/MT, Telegram VG
