Description: 1910 Gabby Street handwritten letter with related telegram. October 26, 1910 handwritten letter to D.A. Fletcher on “The Updegraff” stationery reads in part, “I am ready to play and carry out my part of my contract…P.S. hope the all star league is a go will stick with you.” Signed at the close “C.E. Street” and initialed below. Includes related telegram conveying similar message. Street spent nearly (30) years in baseball a player, Manager, and Broadcaster and was a member of numerous noted teams. Light age toning to letter (pronounced spotting at upper edge). Typical mailing folds. Telegram toned with light wrinkling and several edge tears/folds. Handwriting/signature rates 9 out of 10. Includes letter of provenance and auction LOA from JSA: Letter EX-EX/MT, Telegram VG/EX
