Description: Ty Cobb et. al. autographed PCL baseball c.1953. Wilson C.Rowland Official Pacific Coast League baseball has been signed by a total of (19) including Ty Cobb, Bob Feller, Virgil Trucks, Vic Wertz, Ferris Fain, Hank Sauer, Bill Rigney, Vern Stephens, and others. Ink signatures rate uniformly strong 8 out of 10. Ball displays light even toning with bold stampings. It is unknown what would have brought the group together as the overwhelming majority were at that time rostered Major League players (with obvious exception of Cobb and Feller) however a handwritten "All-1953-Stars" notation suggests that they may have gathered out West for an exhibition game.
