Description: 1939 Jewel Ens Pittsburgh Pirates professional model road jersey. Zipper front flannel jersey with "Pirates" red, white, and blue team name lettered across the front in logo font and player number "33" on back. "A.G.Spalding" manufacturer's tag in collar with adjacent size "46" and "Dry Clean Only" flag tags. The jersey displays light evident usage wear and remains in outstanding condition with blue piping/trim intact around neck and sleeves. "Baseball Centennial" patch on left sleeve, as worn throughout MLB in 1939, has been replaced with an original period example and it appears that a patch was once present on the right sleeve.
