Description: Fine Ted Williams professional model baseball bat c.1955-60. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 32.2oz. The bat retains its original honey colored finish with remarkably well pronounced manufacturer's stampings and facsimile signature impression. Light usage wear is evident on the barrel and a vintage black marker "9" appears on the knob, written in similar fashion to other known examples. Knob is also stamped with model number "W183" which Williams is known to have ordered in the referenced dating period. Ted Williams remains the most revered pure hitter in Major League history with the offered bat standing out as one the more desirable examples we have handled with a highly coveted bold and distinct jersey number notation on the knob.
