Spalding F.Frick ONL ball has been signed by (31) including Robinson, Reese, Hodges (twice), Furillo, Vaughan, Shotton, Casey, Bankhead, and others. Fountain pen signatures rate 7 to 9 out of 10. Ball displays light to moderate toning and has period coat of shellac applied. Small handwritten "1947 Dodgers" notation near League stampings. It goes without saying that the 1947 season was groundbreaking for both the game of baseball and American culture as a whole. With the debut of Jackie Robinson, Dodgers owner Branch Rickey helped to foster a new era in professional sports. Desirable team ball is one of the most complete examples we have handled.
